Why does ncaa 12 keep freezing

I came here to check for others with the problem. The game is simply broken. I've tried with it not installed and with it installed and still encounter freezes frequently. I don't have this problem with any of my other xbox games. It's such a shame because they hit a homerun with the game play, but unfortunately couldn't hire beta testers. User Info: kswilli.

I had the same problem. One game it was a rivarly game and the CPU fumbled and in one I was gonna scoop it for the score the game froze.

The 2nd time it froze for like 30 secs and came back on. This is a major problem. User Info: BA The game isn't "broken". It's only froze on me two times in 2 straight weeks of gaming, both times were in the menu of the game.

Never frozen in a game. Never in a highlight. Never uploading. Never after the game. Which is water that's lying about being milk. Go to system settings and turn auto save off.

That's what I do and I haven't had the game freeze up yet. May not be the source to the problem but its worth a shot. I know the auto save feature does lock it up sometimes but if its freezing during gameplay then I have no idea. Still getting used to it. Replies 0. Haven't had any freezing problems, but I was in practice mode and went back to the main menu and it kept saying loading for 5 minutes so I turned it off.

I didn't play NCAA 12 but played 11 for 2 years and never had freezing issue, even though my system got the red rings of death. Reading up online and it seems like many people are having these issues. It froze during a studio update I think at the end of the 3rd qrt and at the end when they were doing the picture highlights, that game I skipped practically everything, that was outside the general game play even simmed through the end of the 3rd.

Just one game but I have high hopes. Custom playbooks slow everything down I'm on PS3. Doing formation subs with a custom playbook is terrible. There is no way they tested this game. You'd have to be pretty incompetent to not notice. Ever lose connection to EA servers while loading a custom playbook? I have. I am on and surprisingly enough, the game has not frozen on me a single time. I have used named rosters, auto save, and played extended amounts if time patched and unpatched.

I haven't created a dynasty, used custom conferences, played ranked games online, or created custom play books. So for those of you experiencing freezing, there may be some truth to this. BB code is On. Smilies are On.
